It’s been a few days since I forced Bellamy to eat with me, figuring she needed some time alone to stew in her horny rage. I’ve found my thoughts on her more often than not, intrigued by her even. For such a small woman, she carries a lot of rage and guts. I can count on one hand how many people have spoken the way she has and still lives—not counting her, Smee is the only one left.

“Although we haven’t found much about Bellamy and Peter’s relationship, one of the crew has seen him with another woman several times since she’s been gone,” Smee says, moving his chest piece on the game board sitting between us.

“Another whore?” I ask, drinking from my tumbler before moving a knight piece.

“No, his supervisor at work actually.”

I cluck my tongue as he knocks out the knight I had just moved, setting my glass down before moving a pawn. “Are they fucking?”

He shakes his head, staring at the board for a moment before he makes his move. “No. It would seem that Peter does have a crush on Wendy, the supervisor, though. Probably has for a while.”

I meet his gaze. “Even while he was in love with my whore?” I move another game piece.

Smee blinks at me. “Bellamy. And yes, it appears as so.”

I hum with annoyance, watching as Smee takes another one of my pieces off of the board. “Are you telling me this to say I’ve been fucked over, or you just think I should know he has another pussy?”

He shrugs. “Both.” He watches me move and then swiftly knocks the same piece off the board with his own. He smiles when I scowl at him. “But I still think Bellamy was a good trade. She seems good for you.”

That rat bastard. I find it incredibly annoying that the twit thinks he has outsmarted me. And a part of me is annoyed for my Little Bell—as much as it makes me sick with jealousy, it’s obvious she has feelings for him, and I doubt finding out she was not his only woman would hurt her. Why that bothers me; I couldn’t say.

I sigh, running my hands through my hair. “Do you think she likes me?”

Smee pushes his glasses up his nose. “Who?”

Picking up my queen, I twirl it in my fingers. “My whore.”

“Bellamy?” he confirms with a raised brow.

“Yes, her.”

He chuckles. “Probably not. But I bet if you stopped referring to her as your whore and be nicer, she may warm up to you. Do something besides fuck her.” He studies me. “Do you want her to like you?”

I ignore his question, my eyes straying to gaze at the ocean through the window. “What should we do?”

“I don’t know, James, use your imagination.”
